Dunes and Tucki Mtn., 2013. Death Valley National Park, CA

I made this photograph shortly after sunrise during my 2013 Death Valley workshop in an area of the dunes that is less-traveled and, in my opinion, more photogenic than the often visited large dunes. I used 4x5 Tri-X film and exposed and developed for a good full-scale negative.
